columns + stacks : diagrams + perambulations

The Parthenon’s architecture is extremely noted in the British Museum. It was the centrepiece of a building program on the Acropolis of Athens. The temple is especially known for its great size and use of white marble. The building has been altered and sculptures have been damaged. The Parthenon was damaged when it was being converted into a church. The notion of copying is useful to understanding how the architecture and design come to look the way they do across time and space because it is good for design. Honoring the original design is important when discussing the notion of copying.
